Inštitúcia: Straton Technologies a Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, Katedra leteckej dopravy

Zameranie: Vermírny výskum a technológie

Title: Drones Beyond the Sky

Institution: Straton Technologies and the University of Žilina, Department of Air Transport

Topic: Industry and innovation

Information: Do you think drones can only fly around the house? Come see for yourself at the joint booth of the Department of Air Transport (UNIZA) and Straton Technologies, where we’ll show you that modern unmanned aircrafts are aiming much higher—all the way to the very edge of space! At our exhibit, you’ll discover the world of flying technologies from the University of Žilina that are shaping the future of air transport. The main attraction will be a unique returnable stratospheric glider and actual research pods that fly to extreme altitudes, where the sky is already black and the air is extremely thin. Our engineers and scientists will demonstrate live how cutting-edge hardware operates under the harshest conditions and how data is collected at the edge of space. Come touch the stratosphere and discover how the technologies of the future are born!
