Dr. Amina Qutub is a professor of Engineering Design and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas, San Antonio. She uses AI to study the design of human cells to help eradicate diseases of the brain and vasculature, pioneering methods at the interface of computer science, biology, and engineering. Qutub is currently using large language models to allow people with biology backgrounds to use AI without coding.

This talk will introduce how AI is being used to study and optimize the design of human brain tissue, protect against stresses on the brain, and augment human decision-making in chaotic environments. The lecture is intended for a broader, public audience.
